What can I sell?

Just about anything! It's an event for all ages, so we suggest you keep it PG, but basically anything you'd find at a car boot and then some!

We want folks to get creative: are you a home baker? Do we make jewellery? An artist with orignal work? Yes please!

It's also a great opportunity for children to get entreprenurial! Who doesn't love a lemonade stand!

When is it?

2026 dates will be announced soon!

What do I need on the day?

A table is handy to set out your items, but is not nessecary. Items can be laid out on the floor. It is important to have plenty of change if you're planning to do "Cash Only". You can also use apps like PayPal or Monzo to take payments. You can use PayPal to take payments. Or use Monzo QR codes or other digital banking apps.

What do I do with my unsold items?

You are responsible for set up and take down each day. Unsold items can be donated to local charity shops, posted to the "Recycle More Southfields" WhatsApp group chat, or listed for free on apps like Olio, Gumtree, or Facebook Marketplace.

I've looked at the map and my address is a bit "out of the way" what can I do / I don't have a front garden?

We’re looking for community hubs to host stalls for those who may not have a front garden or who may be slightly outside or main map. If you think your church or local organisation could host stalls please get in touch!

What if it rains?

A little rain shouldn't stop us, but if the weather isn't going to cooperate the event will be postponed or rescheduled.

However, we will not be selling at St Barnabas if there is signficaint rain.

What can I sell? Do you have any tips to improve my stall?
